A kit shed is built to a catalog. One built on site is built to your yard – the slope you actually have, the gate you have to get it through, and a roofline that matches the house instead of arguing with it. We build storage sheds, workshops and garden buildings from the ground up.
No poured slab. The building sits on a prepared, compacted base with pressure-treated timber underneath it, which is quicker, cheaper and a great deal easier to put right if the ground moves. A slab is permanent in a way most people do not need and cannot undo – and in a yard that already drains awkwardly, it is often the wrong answer.
We run the power out to it ourselves — we hold a Class I electrical contractor license. A shed with light and sockets is a workshop; a shed without them is somewhere you lose things. Most carpentry outfits leave you to find an electrician afterwards and coordinate two trades yourself. We do the whole thing, wired and inspected, as one job on one quote.
Built to the same standard as the house, with a written itemized price and permits pulled where the size requires them.
